The American fashion designer Micheal Kors became soon one of the most important stylist of the luxury lifestyle brand world. His earmark is a jet-set aesthetic that combines stylish elegance and a sporty attitude, taking the company from its beginning as an American luxury sportswear house to a global accessories, footwear and apparel company. Important also for the success of the label was the commitment of Mr. Kors as fashion-judge in the renowned TV shoes “Project Runway”, a talent show where aspirant stylist try to get into the fashion system. Furthermore he has received for his considerable work a number of awards, including the CFDA Women’s Fashion Designer of the year in 1999, the CFDA Men’s Fashion Designer of the year in 2006 and the CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.
